What are automated roller blinds and how do they work?

Automated roller blinds are operated by an out of sight motor that allows you to open and close your blinds without compromising on style. Simply press the buttons on your remote, smartphone or home automation system to control your blinds as you wish.

What is the difference between hard wired and rechargeable battery-operated motors?

Hard wired needs to be wired directly into your home with the assistance of an electrician. This is only an option for new builds or if you are renovating a space and removing GIB. There is no need to recharge as this is operated through your main power.

Battery-operated motors do not require an electrician and are simply installed the same as a standard roller blind with the motors hidden from sight, making it the perfect option for your existing home or office. This option requires charging however depending on usage, it is generally only once a year.
