RhinoKids Flooring Fund-The Interiors Group

Supporting Kiwi Kids Through the RhinoKids Flooring Fund

In 2020, Carpet Court proudly launched the RhinoKids Flooring Fund with one clear goal in mind - to help create better learning environments for Kiwi kids. Since then, the Fund has been making a real difference in early childhood centres, kōhanga reo, primary, intermediate, and high schools across Aotearoa by replacing old or worn flooring with brand-new, durable flooring solutions.

We believe that the spaces where children learn, play, and grow matter. Quality flooring not only improves the look and feel of a classroom, but also contributes to a healthier environment by reducing dust, allergens, and trip hazards. For young learners especially, these improvements can have a big impact on their wellbeing, concentration, and overall learning experience.

Just as importantly, the RhinoKids Flooring Fund eases the financial pressure on schools and community organisations. By covering flooring costs, it allows them to redirect valuable maintenance budgets into other areas that directly benefit students. Whether that’s updating classroom resources, investing in technology, or supporting extracurricular activities.

Since its establishment, the Fund has touched communities all over New Zealand, helping to create brighter, safer, and more welcoming learning spaces for our tamariki. It’s our way of giving back and supporting the future of Aotearoa - one floor at a time.

View the Difference We’re Making

Every project tells a story, from classrooms that now feel warmer and safer, to community spaces that have been transformed into bright and welcoming environments. Schools often share with us how much of a difference new flooring makes, not just for the children but also for teachers, whānau, and the wider community.
